By accessing or using TradeGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of Service

TradeGuard is a risk management and trading performance platform that provides:

  • Real-time account monitoring via a Chrome extension
  • Risk rule configuration and enforcement tools
  • Trade journaling and performance analytics
  • AI-powered coaching and analysis features
  • Strategy management tools

TradeGuard is a tool designed to assist traders in managing risk and tracking performance. It is not a financial advisor, broker, or investment service.

3. Important Disclaimer — Not Financial Advice

TRADEGUARD DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, OR TRADING ADVICE. ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND OUTPUTS PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE — INCLUDING AI COACHING INSIGHTS, PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS, AND RISK ALERTS — ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

TradeGuard does not guarantee any trading results or profits. Past performance displayed within the Service does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

The risk management tools provided by TradeGuard are aids to discipline — they do not guarantee compliance with prop firm rules or prevent trading losses.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limitations.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Free Trial: New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to Pro features. No credit card is required to start a trial.

5.2 Subscription Plans: After the trial period, continued access to Pro features requires a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed on our website and may change with 30 days notice.

5.3 Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card information.

5.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods except where required by law.

5.5 Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Contact support within 7 days of your first charge to request a refund.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
  • Use automated scripts to scrape or abuse the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to violate your prop firm's terms of service
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription limitations
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Impersonate any person or entity

7. Chrome Extension Usage

The TradeGuard Chrome extension is provided as part of the Service. You agree to use the extension only with TradingView and only for the purpose of monitoring your own trading accounts. You may not modify, redistribute, or use the extension to monitor accounts you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated insights — are owned by TradeGuard and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your trading data remains your property. You grant TradeGuard a limited license to process and store your data solely to provide the Service.

9. AI Features

TradeGuard's AI coaching features are powered by third-party AI models. AI-generated insights are based on your trading data and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not make trading decisions based solely on AI-generated content.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADEGUARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradeGuard, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction]. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
